Các chuỗi thức ăn nhanh đa quốc gia đã mở rộng chi nhánh của họ sang các nước đang phát triển.

Các cửa hàng thức ăn nhanh tràn ngập những người trẻ tuổi.

Gia đình tôi có thói quen nói chuyện với nhau khi chúng tôi bắt đầu ăn.
to dig in: bắt đầu ăn/chúi đầu vào ăn
Family meals are often neglected/overlooked by a large part of the young these days.
Những bữa ăn gia đình bị xem nhẹ bởi phần lớn giới trẻ ngày nay.

Vì sự bận rộn của cuộc sống ngày nay, mọi người có xu hướng ăn vội vàng thay vì dành thời gian để thưởng thức đồ ăn của bạn.
to grab a bite: ăn nhanh, ăn vội vàng (thường dùng trong ăn trưa, bữa phụ, ăn vặt)
Students usually make the best use of remaining time to review for the exam.
Sinh viên thường tận dụng tối đa thời gian còn lại để xem lại bài kiểm tra.
to make the best use of sth: tận dụng tối đa cái gì
I enjoy socializing with my friends.
Tôi rất thích đi chơi với bạn bè.
to socialize with one’s friends: hòa đồng/đi chơi với bạn bè
He dined out every night.
Tối nào anh ấy cũng đi ăn ngoài.
to dine out: đi ăn ngoài, ăn ở nhà hàng (thay vì ăn nhà)
As for university students, the entrance fee is free.
Đối với sinh viên đại học, phí vào cửa được miễn phí.
as for: đối với (dùng để chuyển ý)
Eating out regularly is fairly hard to some people who are on a strict budget.
Đi ăn ngoài thường xuyên khá khó đối với một số người có tài chính hạn hẹp.
on a strict budget: ít tiền, tài chính hạn hẹp
Sharing rooms with one or two friends has become the norm with university students.
Chia sẻ phòng với một hoặc hai người bạn đã trở thành điều phổ biến đối với sinh viên đại học.
the norm (n): điều phổ biến, thông thường
Students who live in the dorm have to eat out frequently.
Sinh viên sống ở kí túc xá phải ăn ngoài thường xuyên.
