Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu Transportation IELTS Speaking part 1

Like many parts of the world, on Vietnam street, there are various kinds of public vehicles such as taxis and motorbike taxies. But the significant difference between Vietnam and some countries is that motorbikes hold the major.

Because too much private transport will cause traffic jam, I am trying to switch to use public transport more regularly. And I find it comfortable ‘cause public transport like bus or train are now very modern and run very smoothly.

My house and my office are way far from each other so I have to take a train to go to work everyday because Hanoi city, where I’m living, has a totally new bullet train system.

Yes, definitely. First, riding a bike is healthy, fun and a low-impact form of exercise for all ages. Second, bikes do not emit any carbon dioxide which can harm the environment.

Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu Transportation IELTS Speaking part 2

Describe a method of transport that you enjoy using.

You should say:

what kind of transport it is

how often you use it

where you travel using it

and explain why you enjoy using it.

Regardless of whether it is a public transport or a private vehicle, transportation plays an important role in our lives. Here, I want to talk about my favorite mode of transportation. Among the modes of transport, I prefer the bus, because taking the bus is very affordable, saves money on gas and doesn’t have to be annoying to drive in traffic.

I usually go to work from home to the office, about 5 km away, by bus. I believe that commuting in a well-ventilated vehicle driven by a licensed and well-trained driver seems like a good idea instead of worrying about distracted driving.

There are a number of reasons why I travel by bus and why it is one of my favorites because first, I can complete my pending tasks. Second, I get to meet new people from all over the city. These encounters will develop into lasting friendships at a later date. In addition, the seats on the bus are spacious. Besides being low cost and convenient, buses contribute to reducing pollution. Most importantly, buses are a safer means of transportation as most accidents are caused by the careless driving negligence of an individual.

Overall, the bus is my favorite means of transportation because it offers great comfort and safety at a relatively affordable price.

Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu chủ đề Transportation part 3

I would say that the main ways are cars, buses and trains. If someone has a car, I think this is their preference because honestly, the train is not cheaper than where I live. Also, trains are often delayed, which can be a real pain, so you could end up with a really long journey. Buses are a bit cheaper but I don’t think it’s a comfortable way to get around. There’s also the option of traveling by plane, of course, but most airlines go overseas – you can’t really travel by plane that cheaply within the country. So cars are really the best option and of course they give you the most freedom when you’re on the go.

Yes, there are many reasons why the situation caused by transport in urban is more severe than rural areas. The key rationale is the number of population in urban has significantly risen which leads to more cars and motorbikes. Thus they emit such an excessive amount of harmful gases that make local residents suffer various respiratory issues. Moreover, city dwellers have to cope with congestion everyday, especially during peak hours. This is because traffic infrastructure in cities can not serve such many people.

No. Vietnam is a developing country so people’s income has increased but not high enough to afford cars massively. That is a explanation for not depending on cars. Instead, we use motorbikes as it’s cheaper and convenient for riding in such small roads in Vietnam. Motorbikes has been a culture that it is the first thing many foreigner think about Vietnam. I suppose in the future, more and more people can have their own car but will not depend on them because of some characteristics of Vietnam I just mentioned.
